Product Specific Information
The MIH12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human B7RP-1, also known as B7h, B7-H2, GL50, and ICOS Ligand.
B7RP-1 is a member of the B7 family with a molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa and belongs to the Ig superfamily. It is expressed by activated monocytes/macrophages and binds to the ICOS molecule (AILIM, CRP-1) on activated T cells. The ICOS/B7RP-1 interaction is important in the T cell costimulation pathway.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood monocyte-derived dendritic cells. Recommended at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Target Information
Inducible co-stimulator ligand (ICOSL) is a ligand on antigen-presenting and peripheral tissue cells that binds the ICOS receptor. ICOS belongs to the CD28/CD152 receptor family and regulates T-cell activation and function. ICOSL is expressed on monocytes, dendritic cells, and B cells, and can be induced by inflammatory stimuli. Its binding delivers a co-stimulatory signal for T cell proliferation and cytokine secretion.
