Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of BCL10 only when phosphorylated at Ser138.
Target Information
BCL-10 is an N-terminal CARD (Caspase Recruitment Domain) containing protein involved in the adaptive immune response. It promotes apoptosis, pro-caspase-9 maturation, and activation of NF-kappa-B via NIK and IKK.
BCL-10 acts as an adapter protein linking the upstream TNFR1-TRADD-RIP complex to the downstream NIK-IKK-IKAP complex and serves as a substrate for MALT1.
Mutations in the BCL10 gene can lead to Immunodeficiency 37 or mucosa-associated lymphoid type lymphoma.
