The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
CDKL5 serine/threonine kinase (STK9) is associated with X-linked infantile spasm syndrome (ISSX), also known as X-linked West syndrome and Rett syndrome (RTT).
CDKL5 regulates nuclear speckle morphology by controlling the phosphorylation state of splicing regulatory proteins and may be indirectly involved in pre-mRNA processing by modulating splicing factor dynamics.
Mutations in CDKL5 are a major cause of infantile spasms and early epileptic seizures in female patients, and later intractable seizure disorders.
