Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is one of two human homologs of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad23, involved in nucleotide excision repair (NER). It complements the NER defect of xeroderma pigmentosum group C (XP-C) cell extracts in vitro and interacts with 3-methyladenine-DNA glycosylase (MPG), suggesting a role in DNA damage recognition during base excision repair.
This protein contains an N-terminal ubiquitin-like domain that interacts with the 26S proteasome, indicating involvement in the ubiquitin-mediated proteolytic pathway.
