Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Lipid kinase that phosphorylates both monoacylglycerol and diacylglycerol to form lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) and phosphatidic acid (PA), respectively. It does not phosphorylate sphingosine. Overexpression increases the formation and secretion of LPA, leading to EGFR transactivation and MAPK pathway activation, promoting cell growth.
