Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor alpha 1 (ERRα, ERR1) is an orphan nuclear hormone receptor. Members of the ERR family share an almost identical DNA-binding domain, showing 68% amino acid identity with the estrogen receptor. ERRα binds to an ERRα response element (ERRE) containing the consensus half-site 5'-tnaaggtca-3', and can also bind to the medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (MCAD) response element NRRE-1. ERR1 functions as a metabolic regulator and is highly expressed in tissues that preferentially metabolize fatty acids. The corresponding gene is NR3B1.
