This antibody reacts with cytokeratin peptides 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, and 18.
Cytokeratins are intermediate filament subfamily intracellular proteins represented in epithelial tissues.
Target Information
Cytokeratin pan is part of a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity, represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Molecular weights range from 40–68 kDa, with isoelectric pH between 4.9–7.8.
Expression patterns of cytokeratin subtypes are used to distinguish epithelial malignancies and aid tumor diagnosis.
Cytokeratin antibodies are valuable tools in immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
Keratin markers are widely used in cancer research and tumor differentiation studies.
