Target Information
Rho-related GTP-binding protein (RhoB) mediates apoptosis in neoplastically transformed cells after DNA damage. It affects cell adhesion and growth factor signaling in transformed cells, targets PKN1 to endosomes, and is involved in EGF receptor trafficking. RhoB is also required for AKT1/AKT stability and nuclear trafficking, promoting endothelial survival during vascular development. Serves as a tumor suppressor — deletion of RhoB causes tumor formation.
