Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure recombinant Murine SDF-1α (CXCL12). The specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine SDF-1α by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When paired with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine SDF-1α (500-P164G) as a capture antibody, it enables detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant Murine SDF-1α.

Western Blot:
For Western blot analysis, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When combined with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Murine SDF-1α is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CXCL12 is a stromal cell-derived alpha chemokine belonging to the intercrine family. Together with its receptor CXCR4, it can activate lymphocytes and is implicated in cancer metastasis, including breast cancer. Mutations in this gene are associated with resistance to HIV-1 infection. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
