Target Information
A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs) are a group of structurally diverse proteins that bind to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A (PKA) and localize the holoenzyme to specific cellular compartments.
AKAP10 interacts with both type I and type II regulatory subunits of PKA, functioning as a dual-specific AKAP. It is enriched in mitochondria and contains RGS domains, which may play roles in PKA and G protein signal transduction.
