Description:
This SF1-1.1.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the H-2Kd MHC class I alloantigen, which is involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD8. Reactivity to other haplotypes (e.g., b, j, k, p, q, s, and v) has not been observed.
This monoclonal antibody has been reported to block CD8 involvement in TCR-ligand binding.

Applications Reported:
This SF1-1.1.1 antibody has been reported for use in functional assays.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended usage ≤0.125 µg per test.
A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL.
Cell number should be determined empirically (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance.
