Product Specific Information
The A20 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD45 molecule, the leukocyte common antigen (LCA) in CD45.1-expressing mouse strains such as SJL/J, DA, STS/A, and RIII. CD45.1 is expressed by all leukocytes in these strains.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤1 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended for best performance.
eFluor® 506 can be excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 506 nm. Recommended band pass filter: 510/20 or equivalent. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It regulates Src-family kinases, lymphocyte development, and antigen signaling. CD45 exists as multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains. It modulates integrin-mediated signaling, promotes cell survival, and participates in apoptosis-related DNA fragmentation. CD45RA is one such isoform with restricted expression among lymphoid subtypes.
