Product Specific Information

The eBioCB-CALLA monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD10 (CALLA, NEP, Neprilysin), a 100 kDa type II cell surface glycoprotein expressed on most acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cells. CD10 is a Zn²⁺-dependent metallo-peptidase involved in regulation of chemotactic and inflammatory processes and stromal cell-dependent B lymphopoiesis. Expression is also found in enterocytes, renal tubules, and glomeruli.

Super Bright 780 is a tandem dye excited with the violet laser and emits at 780 nm. Use a 780/60 bandpass filter. Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.

When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

For compensation setup, use stained cells rather than beads (UltraComp eBeads or AbC Total Antibody Compensation beads) for more accurate results.

Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Target Information

CD10 (CALLA) is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity that inactivates various biologically active peptides. It is expressed on lymphoblastic, Burkitt’s, and follicular lymphoma cells, immature B cells, and epithelial cells of kidney and gut. CD10 is a 100 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein involved in peptide hormone cleavage (e.g., glucagon, enkephalins, substance P, neurotensin, oxytocin, bradykinin). Dysfunctions are associated with spinocerebellar ataxia 43 and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
