This antibody detects endogenous levels of total RYR3.
Target Information
RYR3 (Ryanodine Receptor 3) is a calcium release channel involved in intracellular calcium signaling. It plays a key role in skeletal muscle contraction by mediating calcium release from the sarcoplasmic reticulum upon T-tubule depolarization. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms of RYR3 are known. RYR3 contributes to calcium ion homeostasis and signaling in both muscle and non-muscle cells.
Diseases associated with RYR3 include Central Core Disease and Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia 2.
