Target Information
BSX is a DNA-binding protein that functions as a transcriptional activator. It is essential for normal postnatal growth and nursing. BSX also plays a critical role in neuronal neuropeptide Y and agouti-related peptide function and locomotory behavior, contributing to the control of energy balance.
