Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
PIP5K1C (phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase 1 gamma) is a lipid kinase that phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate to form phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. It is localized at synapses and plays roles in endocytosis and cell migration. PIP5K1C interacts with β-catenin, enhancing its activity downstream of growth factor stimulation. Its expression and kinase activity promote β-catenin phosphorylation, nuclear import, and transcriptional activity. Deficiency in PIP5K1C impairs neutrophil recruitment due to defective adhesion, mediated by RhoA GTPase and integrin activation.
