The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
PGRMC2 (progesterone receptor membrane component 2), also known as DG6 or PMBP, is a single-pass membrane protein belonging to the cytochrome b5 family (MAPR subfamily). It is expressed in sperm and believed to function as a steroid receptor involved in the progesterone-dependent sperm acrosome reaction. PGRMC2 shares approximately 50% sequence identity with PGRMC1. Loss of PGRMC2 gene is associated with metastasis in uterine endocervical adenocarcinomas, suggesting a role in metastasis suppression.
