Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP)는 수지상세포의 성숙과 활성화를 유도하는 중요한 인자로 확인되었습니다.
이는 조절 T세포의 양성 선택, 말초 CD4+ T세포 항상성 유지, CD4+ T세포 매개 알레르기 반응 유도에 관여합니다.
또한 TSLP는 태아 간 및 성체 B세포 전구체의 성장과 IgM 양성 단계로의 분화를 지원합니다.
TSLP 수용체(TSLP-R)는 TSLP와 저친화성 결합을 하지만 IL-7R-alpha와의 공동 발현 시 고친화성 결합 및 기능적 복합체를 형성합니다.
이 이합체 수용체는 stat5를 필요로 하는 신호전달을 매개하며 SOCS-1에 의해 억제됩니다.
