Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) LIR-4/ILT6 is observed.
- Approximately 10% cross-reactivity with rhILT5, rhLIR-5/ILT3, rhLIR-6, and rhLILRA5 is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhILT2, rhILT4, and rhLIR-7 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene is part of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family located on chromosome region 19q13.4.
The encoded protein belongs to the subfamily B class of LIR receptors, containing two or four extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and two to four cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs).
Several LIR subfamily B receptors are expressed on immune cells, binding to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells to inhibit immune response stimulation.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
