Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Eotaxin-3 (CCL26). Anti-hEotaxin-3 (CCL26)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hEotaxin-3 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human Eotaxin-3 (500-P156G) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hEotaxin-3.

Western Blot:
To detect hEotaxin-3 by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hEotaxin-3 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Eotaxin-3 (CCL26) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. It plays an essential role in regulating migration and localization of eosinophils and basophils via the CCR3 receptor. Expressed in tissues such as heart, lung, ovary, and endothelial cells stimulated by interleukin-4. The gene is located on human chromosome 7. Eotaxin-3 induces migration of eosinophils and basophils at concentrations approximately 10-fold higher than eotaxin.
