Target Information
CHMP3는 내포소체 형성 및 엔도솜 단백질의 분류에 관여하는 ESCRT-III 복합체의 핵심 구성요소입니다. 이 복합체는 다중소포체(MVBs) 형성과 막 단백질의 리소좀 전달에 필수적입니다. 또한 세포질 분열의 말기 단계 및 외피 바이러스의 출아와 같은 막 절단 과정에도 관여합니다.
CHMP3는 PtdIns(3,5)P₂ 및 PtdIns(3,4)P₂에 선택적으로 결합하며, 세포분열의 후기 단계와 EGF 수용체의 엔도솜 분류/수송에 역할을 합니다.
Isoform 2는 효모 세포에서 스트레스 매개 세포사멸 및 활성산소 축적을 억제하는 기능을 가집니다.
