A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-27689 was sufficient for detection of ERp57 in 15 µg of HeLa by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 57 kDa protein.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein of the endoplasmic reticulum that interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. The protein exhibits protein disulfide isomerase activity and is thought to assist in protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in glycoprotein substrates.
