RPS2 (Resistance to Pseudomonas syringae protein 2)는 식물의 면역 반응에 관여하는 909 아미노산 길이의 막 단백질로, leucine-rich repeat, leucine zipper, P loop 도메인을 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 AvrRpt2 아비루런스 유전자와 상호작용하여 Pseudomonas syringae 감염에 대한 저항성을 유도합니다. RPS2는 NB-LRR 계열의 질병 저항성 단백질로, RIN4와 직접 결합하며 RIN4가 분해될 때 식물 저항성을 활성화합니다.
