Target Information
SATB1 (DNA-binding protein SATB1)는 Xist RNA에 의해 매개되는 X 염색체 비활성화 과정과 림프종 발달 중 전사 억제 인자로 작용하는 핵심 단백질입니다.
SATB1은 AT-rich 서열 및 핵 매트릭스/스캐폴드 결합 부위에 결합하며, 이중가닥 DNA의 당-인산 골격 구조를 인식합니다.
전사 억제 인자로서, 인산화 및 아세틸화 상태에 따라 핵 및 바이러스 유전자 발현을 조절하며, DNA의 매트릭스 부착 부위에 결합하여 염색질 루프 구조를 재구성합니다.
또한 면역 T세포 CD8SP의 성숙에 중요한 유전자 발현을 조절하며, HIV-1 통합 기작과 연관된 크로마틴 환경에도 관여합니다. HIV-1 Tat 단백질은 SATB1에 의한 IL1 및 IL2RA 억제를 해제할 수 있습니다.
