This antibody detects endogenous levels of MCSF Receptor only when phosphorylated at Tyr699.

Target Information

CSF1R (FMS) is a tyrosine kinase transmembrane receptor involved in macrophage production, differentiation, and function. Ligand binding activates receptor kinase through oligomerization and transphosphorylation. It belongs to the CSF1/PDGF receptor family of tyrosine-protein kinases.
Mutations in CSF1R are associated with myeloid malignancy predisposition. CSF1R acts as a receptor for CSF1 and IL34, regulating survival, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells, particularly macrophages and monocytes. It promotes the release of proinflammatory chemokines in response to IL34 and CSF1, playing a key role in innate immunity and inflammatory processes.
The first intron of the CSF1R gene contains a transcriptionally inactive ribosomal protein L7 processed pseudogene oriented in the opposite direction.
