RSPO3 is a member of the R-spondin family involved in the regulation of Wnt/β-catenin and Wnt/planar cell polarity (PCP) signaling pathways. These pathways are critical for development, cell growth, and disease pathogenesis. RSPO3 plays a role in balancing angioblast and blood cell specification during embryonic vasculogenesis and angiogenesis and may be associated with tumor development.
