Target Information
KCNJ12는 인산화지질 phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate에 의해 활성화되는 inward rectifying potassium channel로, 전기적으로 흥분성 세포의 안정막전위를 조절하는 데 관여합니다.
이 채널은 신경 및 근육 조직의 활동전위 파형과 흥분성을 조절하며, 외부 칼륨 농도에 따라 전압 의존성이 변화합니다. 내부 마그네슘에 의해 외향성 전류가 차단되어 inward rectification이 발생합니다.
