• For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

Apolipoprotein A4 (ApoA-IV) is a plasma O-linked glycoprotein and a major constituent of HDL. It is also found on the surface of newly synthesized chylomicrons. Although its full physiological role is not completely identified, in vitro studies indicate ApoA4 participates in multiple steps of the reverse cholesterol transport pathway, facilitating cholesterol transport from peripheral cells to the liver.
