Target Information

Apolipoprotein A4 (ApoA-IV)는 단백질 분해 후 O-결합 당단백질 형태로 존재하는 혈장 단백질입니다. ApoA4는 HDL의 주요 구성 성분이며, 새로 합성된 킬로미크론 표면에서도 발견됩니다.
그 생리적 기능은 완전히 밝혀지지 않았지만, 여러 in vitro 연구에서 ApoA4가 말초 세포에서 간으로 콜레스테롤을 운반하는 역 콜레스테롤 수송 경로(reverse cholesterol transport pathway)의 여러 단계에 관여함이 보고되었습니다.
