• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

Apolipoprotein A4 (ApoA-IV) is a plasma O-linked glycoprotein after proteolytic processing. It is a major constituent of HDL and is also found on the surface of newly synthesized chylomicrons. Although its physiological function is not fully defined, in vitro studies indicate that ApoA4 participates in several steps of the reverse cholesterol transport pathway, which transfers cholesterol from peripheral cells back to the liver.
