Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies. This design ensures high consistency across production lots.
Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies, they recognize multiple epitopes on the target, providing enhanced detection sensitivity for low-abundance proteins. Each recombinant Superclonal™ antibody has a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
ErbB2 (HER2) is a receptor tyrosine kinase overexpressed in certain breast tumors. Herceptin, used in treatment of metastatic HER2-positive cancer, is a monoclonal antibody targeting this kinase.
