This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The soluble sulfotransferases contribute to the elimination of xenobiotics, activation of procarcinogens, and regulation of hormones by catalyzing the sulfate conjugation of these substances.
Members of this superfamily (SULT1, SULT2, and SULT3) show selectivity to specific substrates.
SULT1A1 (sulfotransferase family, cytosolic, 1A, phenol-preferring, member 1)
- Also known as STP or STP1
- 295 amino acids, localized in the cytoplasm
- Functions as a homodimer expressed in brain, liver, skin, and lung
- Catalyzes sulfate conjugation of catecholamines, phenolic drugs, and neurotransmitters
- Plays a role in elimination of compounds and may be involved in activation of carcinogenic N-hydroxyarylamines
