Target Information
Cullin 3 (CUL3)는 인간 cullin 유전자군(CUL1, 2, 3, 4a, 4b, 5)의 구성원으로, S. cerevisiae의 cdc53 유전자와 상동성을 가집니다.
CUL1은 p19 skp1 및 F-box 단백질 p45 skp2와 복합체를 형성하여 G1 세포주기 조절 단백질의 단백질분해를 조절하는 유비퀴틴 리가아제 복합체를 구성합니다.
반면 CUL2는 p19 skp1 및 p45 skp2와 결합하지 않고, Elongin C, Elongin B, VHL로 구성된 불활성 전사 신장 복합체 SIII와 결합하며, 그 기능은 아직 명확히 밝혀지지 않았습니다.
