MA1-70075 detects CD49d in mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry (frozen sections), and immunoprecipitation procedures.
The immunogen is Peyer’s Patch HEV binding lymphoma line (TK1).
Target Information
Integrin alpha 4 (CD49d, ITGA4) is a member of the integrin alpha chain family. Integrins are heterodimeric membrane proteins composed of alpha and beta chains.
Alpha4 associates with either beta1 or beta7 chains, with ligand-binding sites located on the alpha4 chain.
Ligands include MadCAM, VCAM, and fibronectin. MadCAM is the principal ligand for integrin alpha4beta7.
HIV-1 envelope can mimic MadCAM by binding and signaling through integrin alpha4beta7, the gut mucosal homing receptor for peripheral T cells.
