For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis involves transferring ubiquitin (Ub) to lysine residues on target proteins, leading to their degradation by the 26S proteasome. Ub-fusions are processed via Ub-specific proteases (UBps) or the Ub-fusion degradation (UFD) pathway. The UFD1L protein, a human homolog of yeast UFD1, modulates multiubiquitination and degradation of Ub-fusion proteins. Mutations in UFD1L are associated with CATCH22 syndrome, which includes cardiac defects, cleft palate, and hypocalcemia, indicating its role in developmental processes.
