Target Information
CD1a는 비다형성(non-polymorphic) MHC Class I 관련 세포막 당단백질로, β2-microglobulin과 결합하여 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 피질 흉선세포(cortical thymocytes), 랑게르한스 세포(Langerhans cells), 수지상세포(dendritic cells), 특정 T세포 백혈병 및 기타 조직에서 발현됩니다.
CD1 단백질은 주로 지질 및 당지질 항원을 T세포에 제시하는 역할을 하며, 인간 게놈에는 CD1a, CD1b, CD1c, CD1d, CD1e 등 다섯 가지 유전자가 존재합니다.
CD1a는 세포막과 초기 엔도솜계의 재활용 소포에 위치하며, 대체 스플라이싱된 전사 변이체가 보고된 바 있습니다.
