Target Information
Carbonic anhydrase (CA)는 이산화탄소와 물을 탄산, 양성자, 중탄산염으로 빠르게 전환시키는 효소입니다. 모든 포유류 조직에 풍부하게 존재하며, 저산소증에 의해 유도되는 HIF-1α 관련 유전자의 하나로 CA IX는 막 내 안정성과 위치로 인해 가장 강하게 유도되는 유전자 중 하나입니다.
Carbonic anhydrases는 정상 조직에서 pH 조절에 중요한 역할을 하며, 저산소 상태에서 세포 사멸에 영향을 미칩니다. CA IX의 억제는 저산소 상태에서 세포 사멸을 증가시키므로, CA IX는 저산소증의 신뢰할 수 있는 조직화학적 마커로 사용됩니다.
