Target Information
KIR3DL1 (Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 3DL1)는 자연살해세포(NK cell)와 일부 T세포에서 발현되는 막관통 당단백질입니다. KIR 유전자는 염색체 19q13.4의 1 Mb leukocyte receptor complex (LRC) 내에 위치하며, 다형성과 높은 상동성을 보입니다.
KIR 단백질은 세포외 면역글로불린 도메인의 수(2D 또는 3D)와 세포질 도메인의 길이(L 또는 S)에 따라 분류됩니다. 긴 세포질 도메인을 가진 KIR은 ITIM(immune tyrosine-based inhibitory motif)을 통해 억제 신호를 전달하며, 짧은 도메인을 가진 KIR은 TYRO 단백질과 결합하여 활성화 신호를 전달합니다.
여러 KIR 단백질의 리간드는 HLA class I 분자의 일부로 알려져 있으며, 이는 면역반응 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
