Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CNOT4 is a 575 amino acid protein with E3 ubiquitin ligase activity, involved in protein modification and ubiquitination.
It contains:
- A C4C4-type RING zinc finger domain
- An RNA recognition motif
- A bipartite nuclear localization signal
CNOT4 is a component of the CCR4–NOT (CAF1) core complex, which regulates transcription of multiple genes both positively and negatively.
It interacts with CNOT1 via its C-terminus and with E2 ubiquitin ligases via its RING domain.
Reports indicate that CNOT4 is phosphorylated in response to DNA damage at consensus sites recognized by ATM and ATR.
