Target Information
TSC2 (Tuberin, Tuberous sclerosis complex, TSC Complex Subunit 2)은 종양 억제 인자로 알려져 있으며, 소포 수송(vesicular transport), 세포 성장 정지 조절, 스테로이드 수용체 매개 전사 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
TSC2는 세포질 복합체에서 hamartin과 결합하여 작용하며, Ser939 및 Thr1462에서의 인산화는 hamartin과의 상호작용을 조절합니다. 이는 phosphoinositide 3-kinase/Akt 경로에 의해 자극됩니다.
TSC2는 Ras 관련 단백질 RAP1A 및 RAB5의 GTPase 활성을 자극하여 세포 성장 조절 메커니즘에 기여할 수 있습니다.
TSC2 유전자의 돌연변이는 RAP1A의 지속적 활성화를 유도하며, 림팡기오근종증(lymphangioleiomyomatosis)과 TSC2 혈관근지방종(angiomyolipoma) 등의 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
