Target Information
PDPK1 (3-Phosphoinositide Dependent Protein Kinase 1)은 AGC 계열의 키나아제를 인산화하며, conventional PKC 및 PKC zeta를 활성화합니다. 또한 PDPK1은 phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 존재하에서 Protein Kinase B (PKB)를 Thr308 위치에서 인산화합니다. 활성화된 Akt는 Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 (GSK3)을 불활성화하여 glycogen synthase의 탈인산화 및 활성화를 유도하고, 결과적으로 glycogen 합성을 촉진합니다.
PDPK1은 인슐린 유도 glycogen 합성과 PKC 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하므로, 대사 관련 약물 연구에서 중요한 표적 단백질로 간주됩니다.
