Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Amnionless is observed.
- Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.2 mg/mL.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a type I transmembrane protein. It modulates bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor function by acting as an accessory or coreceptor, influencing BMP binding. The mouse AMN gene is expressed in the extraembryonic visceral endoderm layer during gastrulation and is mutated in amnionless mouse. The encoded protein shows sequence similarity to Drosophila short gastrulation (Sog) and procollagen IIA proteins.
