Target Information
Tight junction 단백질군은 상피세포 간의 접착 구조로, adherens junction 및 desmosome과 함께 상피세포 접합 복합체를 형성합니다.
Claudin-16은 Claudin 계열(총 23종)의 막단백질 중 하나로, tight junction strand 형성에 관여하며 actin cytoskeleton과 ZO-1을 통해 연결됩니다.
또한 Claudin-16(Paracellin-1)은 신장의 thick ascending limb (TAL)에 위치한 tight junction 단백질로, 마그네슘의 세포 간 재흡수에 필수적입니다.
이 단백질의 결핍은 신장의 마그네슘 처리 이상 및 관련 질환(심혈관 및 신부전 등)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
