Target Information
KLF-9 is a transcription factor belonging to the Sp1 C2H2-type zinc finger family. It binds to GC box elements in promoters. Binding to a single GC box inhibits mRNA expression, while binding to tandemly repeated GC boxes activates transcription. KLF-9 regulates uterine endometrial cell proliferation, adhesion, and differentiation during pregnancy and tumorigenesis.
