Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. Its cytoplasmic domain exhibits tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse bone marrow cells at ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended.

Fluorophore Information:
Alexa Fluor® 532 is excited by a Green laser (532 nm) and emits at 561 nm. Not compatible with a Yellow-Green laser (561 nm). Recommended filter: 560/14 band pass.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells (~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins). It is absent in non-hematopoietic tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, T/B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine receptor signaling, and integrin-mediated pathways. Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains. CD45 is essential for lymphocyte development and immune function regulation.
