Product Specific Information

The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except erythrocytes and platelets. Its cytoplasmic domain has tyrosine phosphatase activity, playing a key role in lymphocyte activation.

• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometry on normal human peripheral blood cells
• Recommended Usage: 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Alexa Fluor® 532 is excited with the Green laser (532 nm) and emits at 561 nm. Not compatible with Yellow-Green laser (561 nm). Recommended filter: 560/14 band pass.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, representing ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent in non-hematopoietic tissues and cell lines. CD45 plays essential roles in lymphocyte development, antigen signaling, and regulation of Src-family kinases. Isoforms arise via alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains. CD45RA and other isoforms show cell-type-specific expression and functional diversity. It regulates T/B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine receptor pathways, and integrin-mediated survival signaling.
