Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Glutathione plays a critical role in protecting cells from oxidative damage, detoxifying xenobiotics, and facilitating membrane transport. The GSS protein acts as a homodimer, catalyzing the ATP-dependent conversion of gamma-L-glutamyl-L-cysteine to glutathione — the second step in glutathione biosynthesis. Mutations in this gene cause glutathione synthetase deficiency.
