Target Information
APBA2는 X11 단백질 계열에 속하는 인산화티로신 결합 도메인 단백질로, 신경세포의 어댑터 역할을 합니다. 이 단백질은 알츠하이머병 환자의 뇌에서 아밀로이드 전구체 단백질(APP) 및 신경 플라크와 상호작용하며, APP의 안정화를 돕고 아밀로이드 베타(Abeta) 펩타이드 생성을 억제합니다. 또한 신호전달 및 시냅스 소포의 외포작용과 세포 접착을 연결하는 복합체 형성에 관여할 가능성이 있으며, 자폐증 관련 후보 유전자로도 제시되고 있습니다.
