This antibody is predicted to react with equine, mouse, and rat based on sequence homology.
Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining lot-to-lot consistency.
Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies, they recognize multiple epitope sites on the target and provide enhanced detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets.
Each lot is produced with a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal production.

Target Information

Musashi-1 belongs to the Musashi family of RNA-binding proteins involved in cell fate determination and stem-cell maintenance.
These proteins regulate post-transcriptional gene expression and contain two conserved RNA recognition motifs.
In mammals, Musashi-1 is expressed in fetal kidney, brain, liver, and lung, and in adult brain and pancreas.
In humans, the gene is located on chromosome 12.
