Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45797 was sufficient for detection of 7-Ketocholesterol in 2 µg of 7-ketocholesterol conjugated to BSA by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Specific for 7-ketocholesterol modified proteins.

7-Ketocholesterol은 인간 동맥경화성 플라크에서 발견되는 콜레스테롤의 주요 산화 생성물로, 일부 동물 연구에서 콜레스테롤보다 높은 동맥경화 유발성을 보입니다.
이 화합물은 담즙산 생합성의 속도 제한 효소인 콜레스테롤 7α-하이드록실라아제 및 콜레스테롤 생합성의 속도 제한 효소인 HMG-CoA 환원효소를 강하게 억제할 수 있습니다.
